Deborah Johnson-Ball has been in the design workroom business in the greater New York City and Southern Connecticut areas for 30 years. . Her attention for detail, eye for refinement and quality craftsmanship are second to none. She has an established custom drapery workroom with a reputation of high quality workmanship. Her projects have adorned the estates and homes of numerous clients with her traditional, contemporary, whimsical, and twenty-first century patterns and motifs.
Shorty after starting her business, Ms. Ball’s work caught the attention of the local Laura Ashley store which decided to refer all fabric sales in need of a workroom to her.
Deborah Johnson-Ball is a specialist in the soft furnishing business focusing on full design services for discerning customers and interior designers. She provides ideas and is a master at problem solving to reach the look you want. Her work has been featured in national magazines and top industry publications, including: Architectural Digest, Connecticut Cottages & Gardens, House Beautiful, Better Homes and Gardens, This Old House and At Home. In addition to these publications, her work is in several celebrities’ homes and was viewed in the Westport Christmas House Tour 2013, the Wilton House Tour 2013, Robert Allen display at the D&D Building in NYC and the President’s house for the George Washington Library, Mount Vernon, VA, which opened in February 2014.
